GTG Mods Team Info Squad: Gavril T-Series update & expansion to Train Simulator
Hi there everyone,
It's been awhile since we last gave you an update regarding the development of our mods. A lot has been going on in our personal lives lately as preparations have been made for a new school year, and training for mountainbike races.
I will start with the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack update that's coming up soon. I am pleased to announce that the new, revised update will be available along with the GTG Commons Mod on August 26th between 5 & 6 PM CEST. The new update will feature a completely redesigned Dashboard and seats, with other parts of the interior coming later in other updates.
Currently work is undergoing to correct small mistakes such as taking out in-development parts for later updates.
No new parts have been added lately, so I do not have photos.
Along with this update, I am pleased to announce that I will be making routes for Dovetail Games Train Simulator. Work is currently undergoing to build a fictional, 40 - 50 Mile route set in the 1950's UK.
The route is to be named the Clydescombe & Bensby Railway and is supposed to be a branch line built to mainline standards, thus featuring superelevated turns and speeds upwards to 80 mph on the fastest sections. The steepest climbes will be on slower sections with a maximum gradient of 1:100. The route will feature hand-crafted terrain, close attention to detail, and correct signalling.
Clydescombe, which is an end terminus is located along a large lake. It's primary industry is the fish industry, so you'll see a lot of conflat trains along the route.
Bensby, which is a major terminal at the other end of the route is a decent sized city. It's primary industry is coal and minerals, so you might spot a couple of those trains along the route as well. Bensby also features a large yard, comparable to how Carlisle Kingmoor yard was in the 50's - 60's.
The route is nowhere near release state, but when it will be released it will become a payware product, with a price of 1 Euro. A free trial version will also be available, but this will only be a short stretch of the route.
I hope I gave you enough information on the current progress. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them via our social media channels.
Stay strong, Stay healthy.
