Mod Development Update: Piece by Piece
Hey there everyone,
In today's blog post I'm going to write about the progress we have been making on the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, and the Heavy Haul Trailer Pack.
Let's get started, shall we?
We've been doing some research. And as it turns out, 350 bhp for a 15.2L engine is just miserable. Though, the same cannot be said for a 12.6L engine. So what did we do? Well, we split the Gavril TSX in two, effectively creating the TSX12 & TSX15. The difference? Their displacement and power levels. Suit yourself:
We've retuned the VRX18 by correcting the exhaust power in the turbo. The V660 generates 660 bhp and 3303 Nm of torque. The V1050 went from 5130 Nm to 5328 Nm of torque.
The new version also features its fair share of new configurations. Necessary, as the T-Series has some major changes brought to it by the mod, such as modernization.
I'd like to introduce you to Tax. Our newest team member, and an engine designer. Tax and I will overhaul the TSX and VRX engines by giving them revised models. They however will not be added until the Daycab has finished its modernization process.
Speaking of the interior, here's a photo of progress being made in
Yes, we shall now get to the Heavy Haul Trailer Pack. We have finally started on the lowboy, and here is a photo of it:
The lowboy will be completely detailed out with nearly all of the air componentry being modeled. This particular type, the Fox Type-40 will have a maximum payload capacity of 60,000 kg (~132,000 lbs). A 3-axle and 4-axle variant is planned.
